![]() I filled it up on the 14th of april for 90 pills. I now take feverfew, b2, magnesium for that and helps maybe 5 percent but the studies have it being best after 3 months of use and only a month and a half so far. Taking 4 diff meds for headaches but quit since it didnt work. It goes bump, bump bump 24 hours a day 7 days a week. I originally went to the doc for headaches and only anxiety i have is wanting my headaches to go away which are next to my temples and next to my ears on my face. I take it because my last doc visit 4 months ago i have bad real bad restless legs and nervousness. I feel pale and or feverish if i don't take it. ![]() I only skip one day a week just to see how i feel. When i don't take it i feel jumpy like restless legs and shaky nervousness in my hands. Im supposed to take 2 mg twice a day, but for about 2 weeks ive been taking 1 mg once a day. going cold turkey off Klonopin is a dangerous thing. If you can't get into doc, you should start to taper now. There is such close scrutiny now on controlled substances, that doing that would send a red flag up on the pharmacy. I really doubt you will find a pharmacist to give you all your refills that are due you, close together. If it's an "as needed" script, there still should be something on bottle like "one every six hours, as needed", which is what they will base your refills on. Like, sixty pills for a twice a day script. With controlled substances, you are only supposed to have the amount on hand, that matches your script. Which makes little difference if you don't abuse them, but a pharmacist won't see it that way. The problem that I see with getting refills to finish out your prescript ion is what docs call "stockpiling" meds. My doc normally just re-writes my script and shakes his finger at me telling me meds don't do me any good sitting in the bottle. I don't take as many as prescribed, so I always go past my next refill time, and have meds left when I go to docs and should need new script. Klonopin/Clonazepam is a powerful drug and isn't something you can self-medicate with, especially if you're in a high anxiety state. But it really should be something you talk over with doctors and pharmacists. I have a "last resort" person I MIGHT could help you get in touch with. If you have any questions, please write the email address in my profile. I've tried to be very clear about what I've said. If that's the case the doctor has a responsibility to supervise your taper whether you owe him money or not. If you've been taking it more often just in the last couple weeks, you're going to encounter withdrawal problems. ![]() I suggest having a talk with a pharmacist about it. Well, depending on what the dose is and how often you've been using it, you may have enough in your last bottle to taper off. Otherwise you would've used your refills. How are you taking the Clonazepam and how was it prescribed? The way it was prescribed, I'm guessing you were supposed to take it twice per day but you took it as needed. You just got your last one recently, so I assume you've asked the pharmacist and he won't refill again so soon. The prescript ion's almost up, and for whatever reason you haven't used all your refills. Some months ago you were given a prescript ion with a certain number of refills. I understand exactly what you're talking about. definitely make some phone calls and get it all cleared up so you know what to do next! you don't want to be stuck without! :) hope it all works out! my perscript ion for the same medication is AS NEEDED so that helps me have some lee-way with when i can get it refilled, but before then if i waited too long (i wasn't always compliant with my medication) to refill it, i couldn't get it without a new script. i agree that they probably won't give you 3 Xs what you need at once. whatever you do, don't wait until you're out of the meds to clear this up - it is a controlled substance and it's unlikely to get a call-in refill on it if you're stuck without it over a weekend and can't see your regular doctor. if you can't get the clarification you need from him, make a call to your doctors office for his advice or a nurse's advice. if the amount of refills don't make sense to you though, then my best advice to you is to call your pharmacist (asap) to get clarification. Because it is a controlled substance, you're supposed to take it as directed and a date from that gets figured out that you have to refill by. ![]()
